IT money in bank contract
The contract which was signed a few days ago between PKO BP and Alltel for the supply of a centralised Systematics computer system will be good news for Warsaw based Softbank as the systems integrator has a contract with the American supplier and could earn as much as PLN400m from this deal.
Softbank is currently involved in around thirty projects for PKO BP including three new schemes, Cezar, PKO 24 and Netbank. The company earns between PLN120m E PLN150m annually from its contracts for the bank.
The whole agreement should be completed before next monthÃs elections. The deal itself has been controversial because the state owned bank did not show preference for a European supplier. PKO BP will be paying around USD100m for the system.
