It seemed a year ago that Warta would sell PTE Dom pension fund. In 2005, it had signed agreement to sell it to AXA. The contract was valid till April. Because the process of approval of the merger was delaying, PTE Dom management terminated the agreement. There were rumors that Warta got a better offer. It turned out that KBC group, the owner of Warta and Kredyt Bank in Poland, has decided to develop its pension fund. According to “PB” sources PTE Dom will soon change its name into Warta.
Dom is one of the smallest pension funds. It has over 310,000 clients and PLN 1.99bn (EUR 557.2m) of assets.
