Bill Gates’s company said in July that it would invest USD 400m within three years in the network of partners in Central and Eastern Europe.
“20 percent of this amount will be spent in Poland. The aim is to improve cooperation with partnership companies. We want our present partners to be even more successful. We also want to get new partners in business”, Jacek Murawski, the new general director of the Polish Microsoft said.
The IT giant has 8,000 partners in Poland. 20,000 certificated engineers work for this company. This year, Microsoft has employed 59 people and has over 300,000 employees. The giant estimates that investments will result in 15 percent increase in the number of partners generated every year. Sales in CEE region should grow 25 percent every year.
