Motorway may now start
Word has it that work on the A2 motorway between Nowy Tomyśl and Konin will begin this year. The general contractor is Bau Development, shares in this country are held by the Austrian Strabag and the Swedish NCC. Hydrobudowa Gdańsk will be responsible for the bridge construction work for NCC. Gdańska Hydrobudowa claims that although it does not specialise in this type of work it should not have any problems. There are companies who can build bridges better and Hydrobudowa certainly could not build the Siekierkowski bridge in Warsaw.
