No investor for constructor

Management of Mostostal Export has announced that it does not intend to seek a branch investor and to concentrate on the construction industry.

The company has recently been able to sell its stake in insurer Compensa as well as the H-M-C retirement fund. Now the only non core business players left in the group are leasing company Bankowe Towarzystwo Leasingowe and seven companies in the Delia group.

There have been rumours that once ME has restructured then it might catch the eye of a foreign investor. Mostostal Export is the only quoted construction company that does not have a branch investor. Michał Skipietrow, MD of Mostostal Export claims that an investor is not necessary. Nonetheless the DWS fund which has a 17 percent stake in the company might sell its shares to an investor.
