Optimus CEO has a plan

Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – The IT company had a loss in the second quarter but promises to get out of the red this year.

Optimus promises better results this year.

“The restructuring is concluded. There is not much left to be done as far as savings are concerned”, Tomasz M. Lewandowski, Optimus CEO said.

In his opinion, the company will have a net income this year. Last year, it had PLN 22m (EUR 6.8m) of net loss. In the second quarter of the year, the loss amounted to PLN 259,000. Sales amounted to PLN 10.8m.

The former giant wants to sign contracts with distributors in Belarus, Lithuania and Ukraine. Jointly with its partner ABC Data, it will also launch sales offices in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. As early as this year, Optimus will take part in several IT tenders in consortia with big integrators. The company plans to offer outsourcing for financial, tourist and airline industries. Negotiations with future clients are very advances.
