Out of the cold
Materne, producer of fruit products such as jams and frozen goods has decided not to build a USD3m freezer plant for at least one year at its HQ near Lublin.
Only last November the then MD of Materne Polska, Christopher Dubus, said that the freezer plant was just the beginning of a major investment programme which would see USD50m placed in ventures outside of France.
The main product of Materne Polska are frozen fruit, 90 percent of which is exported to the EU.
