According to the information obtained by Puls Biznesu, the contract comprises the implementation of the system in 1500 Polish Post’s offices. However, the contract may be extanded for the remaining 4500 outlets increasing its total sum to almost PLN 300 million. E-post, designed jointly by Prokom and Postdata, will allow the Polish Post to provide a whole range of new services.

The contract with the Polish Post can mean the end of Prokom’s unfortunate run. After the PZU’s cancellation of the contract for a new IT system, the company recorded a sharp drop in its share prices. In an interview for Puls Biznesu, Prokom’s president, Ryszrd Krauze, annuonced the reduction of annual expenditures by PLN 60 million and cuts in marketing and employment costs.
