Miron Maicki of press distributors Ruch says in an interview in today’s Puls Biznesu that despite being state owned the company has maintained a 52 percent market share and as having been on the market for 85 years is a stable business partner.

He dismisses the idea that an investor could introduce know-how pointing to the example of when Hachette wanted to buy the firm in the mid 1990s, it showed the Poles distribution systems it had organised in Spain. Maicki noted that the systems were no better than those in Poland, on the contrary the Polish system was more efficient. Therefore he argues that it is fair to say that know-how at Ruch is at a world wide level of performance.
