Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – The 20 share blue chips index fell for the second consecutive day, but the decrease was not very big.
MIDWIG and WIRR rose to their new records again. WIG, the general index of the Warsaw Stock Exchange, lost a little bit. WIG20 fell 0.47 percent to 3,194.58 points. This week, it has gained 2.22 percent, however. Shares of blue chips worth PLN 750m changed hands, which is not a very big amount.
The moods are optimistic for next week.
Agora media group was the worst performer among blue chips and fell 2.8 percent. NFI Midas whose investor is Roman Karkosik announced a tender offer to buy Suwary shares. The stock of the latter jumped 103 percent. Elektromontaz-Export rose 23.6 percent on the news it may reach settlement with its creditors. PPWK added 15.1 percent.
