The National Economic Chamber of Electronics and Telecommunication (KIGEiT) has sent its report on barriers on the telecom market to the Electronic Communication Office (UKE) yesterday. There are 80 examples of TP actions hindering the development of its rivals.
“TP makes problems all the time”, the operators associated at KIGEiT said.
They believe that TP makes the operators agree for conditions which are worse than those approved by UKE. That’s why in their opinion it is necessary to split TP into wholesale and retail businesses.
“TP behaves differently only in talks with Centertel”, Dariusz Piekarz from KIGEiT said.
TP assures that it is trying to improve relations with other telecoms.
“We are constantly improving contacts with operators. We have invested several dozens millions zloty to do it. That’s why we are convinced that the number of irregularities will keep falling”, Wojciech Jabczynski, TP spokesman said.
He added, that TP has provided over 1m fixed lines to alternative operators
in recent years.
