The banking watchdog, Komisja Nadzoru Bankowego, has attacked changes in the articles of association of BGÅ» bank designed to allow the treasury to keep control of it as long as it retains at least a 25 percent stake. However the opinion of the watchdog will no doubt not be sufficient to reverse this controversial decision.
