The most radical plan that Whirpool has for its recently acquired Wroclaw based white goods subsidiary Polar is to bankrupt it keeping only refrigerator production.
Whirpool will be announcing its plans for this country today. It has a lot of ground to make up.
Only a few years ago Polar had more than a fifty percent share of the white goods market in this country, now it is only 8.5 percent.
