CEZ, the Czech power giant, rose 3.4 percent to
PLN 147.8 despite the fact that Sal Oppenheim lowered its recommendation from
„buy” to „neutral”. The volume of trade was small hower, and amounted to PLN
2.3m. MOL, the Hungarian fuel giant grew 3.3 percent to PLN 357.5.
Banks were doing poorly. WIG-Banki lost 2.2 percent for the worst performance of all subindices. PKO BP was the worst performer among blue chips after it rose to its record of PLN 54.85 yesterday. Today it lost 3.4 percent to PLN 53. BZ WBK was the second weakest blue chips with 3 percent decrease. Pekao bank fell 1.8 percent, while Bank BPH 2 percent.
