Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – The WIG20 index ended 0.75 percent down today.
After great day on the Wall Street, the Warsaw 20 share blue chips index rose 0.8 percent in the first hour of trading. It ended 0.75 percent below yesterday’s level, however. Shares worth PLN 814m changed hands, alevel similar to the one reached yesterday.
GTC developer rose 1.7 percent to PLN 49.1. There are nine trading days left to the day the homebuilding company publishes its fourth quarter results. PKN Orlen fuel giant rebounded after yesterday’s losses when investors got panic because oil inventories in the USA were misestimated. The latter fell while they were expected to grow. Oil price decrease had no reasons, then. PKN Orlen added 0.4 percent to PLN 46.99.
Agora media group dropped 4.6 percent to PLN 37.37, the level recently achieved on January 2nd. Polimex-Mostostal shed 2.9 percent to PLN 185.
