Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Tuesday was the second consecutive day when the WIG20 companies divided into two groups.
Nine companies rose and nine fell. Bioton insulin producer and TVN media group remained unchanged. The WIG20 index fell 0.32 points to 3,168.98 points. Shares worth PLN 863m changed hands. It was the fourth day when the volume of trade did not exceed PLN 1 billion.
The smaller blue chips rose mainly, including Prokom IT company which gained 2.2 percent to PLN 129.8 after ING TFI said it had over 5 percent of the company. Orbis travel group, Kety aluminium producer and MOL fuel giant also rose. Agora media group, Bank BPH, TP telecom and Polimex-Mostostal construction company were among the worst performers. TP and Polimex lose after substantial increases generated in the previous weeks.
