All hurry at PZU
Despite growing doubts around the privatisation of a 51 percent stake in insurer PZU this year, Zygmunt Kostkiewicz, MD of the company, believes that speed is of the essence in order to secure the position of it as market leader and that of the strategic investor. The interests of the treasury which desperately needs the cash to fill a part of the gaping budget deficit are also obviously of paramount important. At the same time shares belonging to employees will soon be openly traded.
