Business assesses euro

Polish managers seem to be very critical of themselves for not paying enough attention to the euro. Thirty one percent think they know too little about it whilst only nine percent think that are well informed.

Businesspeople are particularly critical of the role of the central bank (NBP). Only one quarter of businesspeople consider that it has done a good job informing Poles about the new European currency. Banks are less prone to criticise the NBP probably because they have been preparing for the EUR for more than one year.
