Changes in supervisory boards

Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Tadeusz Demel and three other people have been dismissed form supervisory board of KHW. Also all members of SRK lost their positions.

Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Tadeusz Demel and three other people have been dismissed form supervisory board of KHW. Also all members of SRK lost their positions. 

Paweł Poncyljusz, viceminister of economy, acting as an shareholders meeting, changed the supervisory board of Coal Holding in Katowice (KHW). In Silesia, the dismissal of chairman Tadeusz Demel became a sensation because he is said to have significant weight.  In 1993-95 he was the first president of KWH, since 2000 he was a member of its supervisory board. It was supposed that the minister will not dismissed him because of his connections with Silesia’s politics and church. That means that the minister has large support in PIS to clean the positions. 

Konrad Miterski, one of directors in ING BSK, become the new chairman of supervisory bard in KHW. As a members will work: Jarosław Adamkiewicz from Warsaw, Tadeusza Giza from Silesian Technical University in Gliwice and Mirosław Pawełczyk, attorney from Katowice. Józef Dubiński, Jan Roszkowski and Anna Truszkowska were given a sack. From previous frame, stay Antoni Malinowski from ministery of economy and Marek Haliniak from environment ministery.

„ Board with new members is to assess the so far activity of the company”, Paweł Poncyljusz said.

In Company for Mine Restructurization (SRK), the viceminister dismissed the whole, 5-people  frame. The new one will consists of  Grzegorz Widenka, Paweł Bakun, Norbert Komar, Jan Korzeniec i Wojciech Szelęgowski.

According to information of Puls Biznesu, in this month also the president of SRK will be dismissed. The company deals among others with taking over mines that are planned to be closed. At he end of February, SRK has operating loss of PLN 3.8m (PLNo.99m) and net loss of PLN 4.6m.
