Coffee producers Elite Polska have denied that they are about to pull out of this country following their decision not to invest in quoted confectionery producer Mieszka.
The company claims that it is still searching for potential acquisitions in this country.
Coffee consumption in Poland is still several times less than in other countries in Europe, Scandinavians consume around 14kg of coffee per head per year, Germans 7kg and Poles only 2.5kg.
