Energomontaz-Poludnie, a company specializing in construction projects in the energy and industry sectors, has signed a contract with French Alstom worth PLN 23m (EUR 6.9m).
“This is the third order from Alstom in Belchatow power plant already. The joint value of projects with the company exceeds PLN 65m”, Andrzej Holda, Energomontaz-Poludnie deputy CEO said.
Since the beginning of the year, the company has signed contracts worth nearly PLN 300m. Further orders from Alstom may appear.
“We are fighting for big contracts in Germany and the Netherlands. Their value is similar to the newest order at Belchatow plant”, Andrzej Holda added.
The company is also negotiating to get contracts in the coke and cement markets. Energomontaz-Poludnie is withdrawing from homebuilding activities and will focus on its core business: energy and industrial construction.
