Fate of Daewoo insurance still unclear
The emergency management board at Daewoo insurance is hoping to shortly complete studies of investment offers it has received. The state insurance watchdog PUNU will then have to consider whether it is best to bring in a branch or other type of investor.
The company had been deeply linked with insuring new Daewoo cars, the downfall of which badly hit the insurance company which was only narrowly saved from going under.
