ITI to invest EUR 70m in its platform

Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – ITI, the media group, will invest EUR 65-70m it got selling ‘n’ platform, in the platform itself. The rest will be spent in Ukraine.

 

Wojciech Kostrzewa, the head of ITI group, knows already how to spend EUR 95m the company had received by selling ‘n’ platform.

“EUR 65-70m will be reinvested in the platform. We are obliged to finance 75 percent of further necessary spending. Technology, promotion and distribution need investing”, Wojciech Kostrzewa said.

There are three TV broadcasting platforms in Poland. A fourth one may be launched later this year (owned by Telekomunikacja Polska telecom). Telewizja Polska, the Polish TV broadcaster is also considering such a project.

 

The remaining EUR 25-30m will be spent for investments in Ukraine.

“We want to be one of three biggest media groups in Ukraine”, Wojciech Kostrzewa said.

Having acquired Silver Screen, Multikino, ITI subsidiary, has become the owner of a movie in Lvov. Within five years, Multikino will found a network of big cinemas in the biggest Ukrainian cities.
