Mine of tax problems
The association of local mining authorities (Stowarzyszenie Gmin Górniczych w Polsce - SGGP) has united to fight a decision of the supreme administrative court that underground assets of the mines cannot be the subject of rates.
This decision will mean that local authorities in mining areas will have to find PLN600m for refunds.
