Monier, one of the leading producers of roof materials in Poland is preparing to build a new plant of ceramic tiles.
“We are preparing for the investment evaluated at EUR 80m”, Wojciech Gatkiewicz, Monier CEO said.
The company has three plants and four storage houses. Two plants, in Opole
and Plonsk, producer cement tiles, while its factory near Radom produces ceramic
tiles under the brand RuppCeramika. This is where the fourth factory will be
located. Construction works may be started at the end of 2009 and beginning of
2010, production may be launched a year later. The new factory will double the
capacity in the production of ceramic tiles.
