Oknoplast-Krakow plans expansion in Poland and abroad.
“We will launch 20-30 new offices in northern Poland this year. We want to increase sales in this part of the country”, Mikolaj Placek, Oknoplast-Krakow CEO said.
The company wants to strengthen its position in Germany, Italy, Slovakia and Hungary.
“We also want to start selling our products in France in September. We want to export 200-300 windows weekly. First, we will launch 15 sales representatives”, the CEO explained.
The company has recently entered the Czech Republic. It has launched 20 offices there and is going to have 25-30 more in the future.
This year, exports will generate 33 percent of the company’s sales. It plans a serious investment. In July, it will build a plant near Krakow for PLN 12m (EUR 3.5m). This investment will allow to increase the capacity of window production by 20 percent.
“Today, the capacity amounts to 900,000 windows annually”, Mikolaj Placek said.
The company estimates that it has 5-6 percent of the market.
This year, the Oknoplast-Krakow plans to generate PLN 16m of net income against PLN 215m of sales. In 2009, it plans PLN 18m of net income against PLN 240m of sales.
