The pension funds have heavily criticised a plan by the employment ministry to reform their sector. The ministry has claimed that it will lead to greater competition, the funds themselves say that their revenues could fall, some foreign players may withdraw completely and five funds, including that of Kredyt Bank, will have no chance of survival. The funds would like to see the state paying some of the money it owes them before changing the rules which could see them losing twenty percent of their cash in as many years.
