(Puls Biznesu) – Vistula, Poland’s clothes producer, has good results thanks to products’ diversification. ‘If the weather causes smaller coats sales, we make it up by selling more shirts’, Michal Wojcik, Vistula CEO explained. November was not particularly good for the company but the CEO sees no reasons to complain. ‘December, the most important period for the sector, will be decisive for our results’, Michal Wojcik added.

According to the CEO, preliminary estimates prove that the fourth quarter will be similar to the second one, when Vistula group had PLN

3.2 million (EUR 764.8 thousand) of gross income and PLN 4.1 million of net income. If it holds true, Vistula will have PLN 20 million of income in 2004. Last year, the company lost PLN 5.5 million. The funds will be spent on Vistula’s shops. Last week, the company opened another outlet, and till the end of this year it will have 35 own shops. 30-35 new ones will be opened in the near future.
