Soon, two years will have passed since Skarbiec Asset Management Holding has been controlled by Enterprise Investors fund.
“We are very satisfied with the way Skarbiec is growing. We had three tasks for the management, including the one: to increase the number of products. Skarbiec has implemented sector funds, private equity funds and funds investing outside the Warsaw Stock Exchange. Secondly, we wanted the distribution network to get bigger. Skarbiec is present where it can be. The third goal was to split Skarbiec from Proservice. Today they operate as independent entities with different strategies. All these tasks are being implemented very well”, Dariusz Pronczuk, Enterprise Investors managing partner said.
He added that despite bearish market, Skarbiec assets amounting to PLN 3.92bn (EUR 1.2bn) are PLN 600m higher than two years ago.
Usually, when a company meets the goals, fund withdraws from the investment.
“We had phones from entities interested in Skarbiec a month after we had bought it. But today, no one will buy it at the price we would like to get. Skarbiec will show its strength when clients start investing again. Then, a buyer will easily appear or the company will be listed on the WSE”, Dariusz Pronczuk added.
