Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) - Zygmunt Solorz, the owner of Polsat TV broadcaster, wants to exchange his shares for Axel Springer's stake and to delist Elektrim from the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

Despite the fact that monopoly authorities had blocked the Germans from purchasing Polsat, it may happen in another way. Besides EUR 100-150 million in cash, Solorz would get a stake of Axel Springer for a stake of Polsat. Axel Springer has numerous dailies and magazines in Poland, including “Fakt”, “Dziennik”, Newseek and Forbes.

“I neither confirm nor deny” Zygmunst Solorz-Zak said.

“No comment here”, Michal Fijowl, Axel Springer Poland spokesman said.

Zygmunt Solorz-Zak also negotiates tough to withdraw Elektrim from the stock exchange, evaluating the company at PLN 550 million (EUR 154m). Yesterday, he launched an offer to buy the shares. He promises the company will come back on the WSE but in two years.
