Retail sales of clothes and shoes in Poland will amount to PLN 28.8bn this year, the analyst company PMR estimates. It means that for the second consecutive year, the dynamics will amount to 15 percent.
“Good economic situation, falling unemployment and growing wages cause that an average Pole may more often buy goods which are not of basic importance. These are more and more often clothes of good brands at middle-sized prices”, Patrycja Nalepa from PMR said.
Among new brands in Poland, there are Next and Topshop, Turnover, Companys, Soaked in Luxury and Bianco Footwear. Empik Media&Fashion has new brands, including Jennyfer, Spring, Cortefiel and Bodique while Gino Rossi – Cosimo Martinelli.
