The Italian group specializing in design and production of aluminum car parts, has decided to shift production from Italy to Poland. Equipment from Italian plants is already delivered to Poland. The changes mean employment cuts.

“We will substantially reduce employment in our Italian plants. In Polish facilities, however, it will grow by nearly 25 percent to 1,150”, Renzo Poli, the CEO of the Polish unit of Toora said.

The changes will substantially increase the sales of the Polish company. This year, it plans to have PLN 285m (EUR 72.1m) of sales while in 2007, this number should grow to PLN 430m. Investors welcomed the news. The stock was growing yesterday but not more than 5.3 percent.
