Two first companies to be listed on the Polish Nasdaq

Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Digital Avenue and S4E are going to be listed on the NewConnect exchange. 5-8 companies will be traded there at first.

Digital Avenue and S4E, technological companies from the portfolio of MCI Management are the first ones to be listed on NewConnect alternative market. The Warsaw Stock Exchange is going to launch it on August 30th. Digital Avenue, a company offering digital entertainment, wants to issue 20-25 percent of shares worth PLN 10m. The funds will be spent for acquisitions. S4R, a company offering data bases and protection, wants to sell up to 20 percent of capital owned by MCI today. The value of the offer will amount to PLN 3m (EUR 798,000). The company plans acquisitions and new products.

The two companies are just the beginning.

“We have not decided yet how many companies will be traded on the first day. In the first week, there will be 7-8 of them. Till the end of the year, over 10 companies should be listed on the NewConnect”, Ludwik Sobolewski, WSE CEO said.
