Vistula&Wolczanka announced best brand among listed companies

Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Zywiec beer in one hand, a remote control choosing only TVN channels in the other hand, Vistula trousers and Gino Rossi shoes on – this is how every broker and analyst would like to look like.

180 brokers, analysts and investment advisors were asked about the quality of products and services offered by Poland’s listed companies.

“How the brand is perceived has big influence on the company’s results, and in effect its market value. This rule applies mainly to retail companies”, Marcin Pelenik, DM Millennium analyst commented.

Vistula&Wolczanka, suits and shirts producer won with 88.57 percent of votes. It was slightly higher than Zywiec beer with 88.39 percent. TVN TV broadcaster, Barlinek floor producer, Gino Rossi shoes and W.Kruk jewelry followed in the ranking.

“To a client, the brand is as important as the quality of the product. Companies pay more and more attention to this fact”, Pawel Nizinski, GoodBrand & Company Poland head said.

ING Bank Slaski was the best among banks. Protektor shoe producer is the biggest surprise as the company produces army shoes. The following companies are no longer in the top ten: Bioton, Duda, Kety, GTC, Swiecie, Wawel, BRE, Interia and Zelmer.
