Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – The stock of the Austrian home building company dives. The management assures that the evaluation of the company has no influence on its business.

Warimpex, the Austrian home building company, saw its shares dive in Warsaw by 11.6 percent to PLN 8.31 (EUR 2.4) yesterday.

“Evaluation of all companies suffer because of the world situation and we are no exception here”, Georg Folian, Warimpex deputy CEO said.

He added that the company receives numerous questions from individual investors mainly.

“Let me stress that stock price has no influence on our current operations”, Georg Folian calms down.

He added that there are funds provided for all projects. The crisis may, however, delay sales of some of the company’s assets.

“We are negotiating but because of the turmoil our partners have decided to withhold from decisions”, Georg Folian explained.

The second half results of Warimpex depend on these transactions. The results may be also affected by weaker operations of hotels which are in the company’s portfolio. While Georg Folian does not expect any slowdown in business travel, the situation may be difficult with tourists.
