Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Friday was the fourth consecutive day of falls in the WIG20 index but there are no reasons to worry – investors were not very active. Shares of blue chips worth PLN 422m (EUR 104.6m) changed hands, only 10 percent more than yesterday. WIG20 fell 0.72 percent today and 0.5 percent within the last week.
PKN Orlen shed for the fourth consecutive day (only yesterday it remained unchanged). Today the decrease amounted to 2.2 percent while shares worth PLN 72.5m changed hands. The fuel giant raised its offers to buy Unipetrol, Paramo and Spolana. GTC construction company dropped 4.4 percent. Since its record achieved on August 2nd when shares grew to PLN 145, they fell 11 percent. MOL lost 4.6 percent today.
Lotos, Poland’s second largest fuel company added 2 percent while shares worth PLN 78m changed hands. In the previous four days, the shares gained 10.8 percent already. Jelfa pharmaceutical producer rose 4.2 percent after it published good second quarter results. Boryszew dived 13.4 percent after it cut its consolidated income from PLN 97m to PLN 63m.
