Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Indices fell again on Thursday and chances are small that the bearish market will end on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

The WSE ended down, and the decrease was deeper than of other European markets. In the morning, a series of quarter reports were presented, including very positive news from PKN Orlen and Grupa Lotos which increased income by several hundreds percent thanks to high oil prices. Police fertilizer producer rose on increasing prices and increased its income by 212 percent. It looked like investors could appreciate these news. However, the WIG20 index opened down. Companies which disappointed investors were the most affected, including Agora media group which bought Trader.com, an online announcement portal (investors decided the price was too high, shares shed 7 percent despite good quarterly report). Bioton insulin producer was losing before announcement of the report as investors remembered the disappointment from previous report. Drewex, the producer of furniture for children, which had its debut today, ended 4 percent up. Petrolinvest oil company also rose.

WIG20 ended 1.3 percent down while shares worth PLN 1.6bn changed hands. mWIG40 lost 1.4 percent.
