The Legnickie Pole’s local unit is ready for the investor that will build at the 30ha area, the biggest in Poland ecologic plant of rubbish utilization. Some investors from Sweden, Canada, Germany and Dennmark are fighting for this project.

The other shareholder is also, apart from Legnickie Pole, the Ekocentrum-Wrocławski Ośrodek Usług Ekologicznych (WOUE). Representatives of the company hold the talks with companies that are ready to invest in the project abut PLN 100m. (PLN 26.2m).

This plant will be the biggest in Poland. It is set up in the previous sandmine.  Rubbish will be utilized in 3thousand Celsius Degree. That will be the first source of income. But not the only one. Simultaneously there will be production of electricity.

“We have the choice of some modern technologies. The way of wastes’ neutralization  will decide which one will be chosen”, Maciej Lenartowski from Wrocławski Ośrodek Usług Ekologicznych said.

In opinion of Marian Rzeczkowski, chief of Legnickie Pole, creating such a plan is the alternative for building of rubbish dump.

“ The opinion of ecologic character convinced me, and the possibility of electricity produce as well. We plan to sell it through energy enterprise to the companies at the Special Economic Area of Legnica”,  Marian Rzeczkowski said.

Building of this plant, financed from UE funds , will last not more than 18 months. But the investor will have to take very long administrative process lasting 1-2 year.
