Asseco Poland, an IT group worth PLN 3.8bn (EUR 1.2bn), founded on a small Comp Rzeszow, will soon announce a new acquisition. It is going to be a company working for the banking sector.
“I may only say that this is a very profitable company with its own product for banks. The transaction will be worth several dozens million zloty”, Adam Goral, Asseco Poland CEO said.
That’s not all. The listed company will this year make some order within the group. It is also negotiating several acquisitions abroad. On August 14th, the management will ask shareholders to agree to raise the capital. Asseco considers founding a company similar to Asseco South Eastern Europe in Western Europe.
“Asseco Western Europe would consist of companies from Spain, Germany, Austria, France and the Netherlands”, Adam Goral added.
However, instead of one big company in Western Europe, two smaller ones may be founded: Aseco DACH (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) and Asseco South Western Europe (Spain, Portugal and France).
“It would be great if the Spanish company acquired a firm with a strong position in Latin America. We have found an interesting company there. Negotiations are going on but they are not easy”, Adam Goral said.
The CEO adds that the analysts’ forecasts concerning this year’s results will be met. They amount to PLN 250m of net income and PLN 3bn of sales.
