Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) - The Warsaw Prosecutor’s Office has received several applications to investigate Ryszard Bagsik, one of the most famous Poland’s swindlers of the 1990ies. Further legal cases are coming forth. Millions of zloty are at stake which Digits Service refuses to pay back to over 100 cheated clients. They were promised 52 percent return on their capital within 12 months. There is no return and their money got lost.

“After “PB” had first published texts about DS, investigation speeded up. Claims from clients will increase the pace even more”, “PB” source said.

Before, investigation concerned only illegal brokerage offered by DS. A suit had been filed by the Polish Financial Supervision Authority. It all changed after “PB” had revealed that DS fails to pay back money to clients who invested in its forex market business. Since the beginning of 2006, DS had raised (via CENG Polska, eCashing and Vinsvin) over PLN 20m (EUR 5.5m) from over 100 clients. Contracts promised 1 percent of income paid every week, or 52 percent annually. At first, DS kept to its promises. Since the middle of 2007, the majority of clients has got nothing except for letters explaining that the money would be paid later on. Majority of these letters were signed by Boguslaw Bagsik representing DS. In interview with “PB” Boguslaw Bagsik would say that he had nothing to do with DS.
