Bank BPH, exactly as its CEO Jozef Wancer had promised before, is building
its corporate business again.
“The whole IT system, products, know-how were
left in the bank”, Grzegorz Dabrowski, the new general director for corporate
banking said.
The bank will focus on middle-sized companies. Competition is slightly smaller on this market while there are at least 15,000 potential clients. In order to reach them, Bank BPH is launching regional centers for corporate clients. There are already such centers in Krakow and Warsaw, there will be further ones launched later this month in Gdansk, Szczecin and Bydgoszcz.
“We want to be present in all big cities”, Grzegorz Dabrowski said.
Bank BPH was split due to the merger of Pekao and Bank BPH. The so-called
mini-BPH is called Bank BPH today.
