Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – CEZ, the Czech energy company, submitted another offer to buy PAK power plants.

According to unofficial sources, the offer came to the Ministry of the Treasure last week. It concerns acquiring 50 percent of PAK, or the whole stake controlled by the ministry, and 80 percent of two coal mines working for the power plant. There are financial proposals included in the offer but they are not binding because they are based on the 2004 data as CEZ was not allowed by the other PAK shareholders, including Elektrim and Inwestycje Polskie to conduct due diligence.

The Ministry pledged to sell PAK to Elektrim.
