Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – In August, Comp, the IT company specialising in security systems, wants to acquire a company whose sales amount to several million zlotys a year. “We also closely watch two other companies. One of them has some dozen million zlotys of sales, the other is smaller. We will try to conclude these transactions till year-end. In the years 2005-2006, we would like to develop our group”, Jacek Papaj, the CEO and main shareholder of Comp said.

Till the end of next year, Comp wants to spend PLN 30-40m (EUR 7.3-9.8m) for acquisitions. Its financial situation is good. “In the first half of the year, the group realised 51 percent of this year’s income forecast and 36 percent of sales”, Jacek Papaj explained. After the first half of the year, the income amounts to PLN 5.13m and sales to PLN 34.41m against PLN 10m and 95m last of forecasts. The company boasts to have contracts, which will allow it to realise the forecast in 75 percent. The fourth quarter is the best in IT sector. Although it is very probable that Comp will fulfil its forecasts or even exceed them, it will not pay out dividend next year. The funds are to be spent on acquisitions. “We have offers for foreign companies. We may get interested in them”, Jacek Papaj said.
