The Danish company launches a new facility and promises further PLN 170m (EUR 51m) of investments.
Danfoss, the producer of controls and meters, launches its new plant in Grodzisk Mazowiecki where it will produce heating pumps, electric cables and heating mats. The investment cost PLN 40m. 150 people will be employed here.
„Poland is a good place to expand to European markets”, Niell Hansen, Danfoss Polska CEO commented.
Danfoss has already plants in Grodzisk Mazowiecki, Wroclaw and Chwaszczyn. The new plant is not the last word. Danfoss wants to invest PLN 170m in Poland in the near future. So far, it has invested PLN 300m.
“We expect the new investment will increase our sales by 15 percent this year”, Adam Jedrzejczak, Danfoss financial director said.
Last year, Danfoss Polska had PLN 366m of sales and PLN 16.41m of net income. This year, it plans PLN 420m of sales and PLN 20m of net income.
