Next year the German owner of DB24 bank, Deutsche Bank, will need to find an extra PLN223.5m for its Polish offspring. The money is needed to develop the internet side of the business. In the first quarter of this year DB24 earned PLN500,000 less profit than in the first quarter of last year although the company is expecting 2002 to be better than 2001.
