Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – A control stake of Jelfa medicine producer will be bought by Lithuanian Sanitec.
Enterprise Investors (EI) resigned from the trial to acquire a stake in Jelfa medicine producer.
“We give up further tender offer”, Ryszard Wojtkowski, EI partner and member of the board said.
EI offered PLN 90 (EUR 22.8) for each of Jelfa’s shares. The Lithuanian Sanitas offered PLN 93. The Lithuanians have been negotiating to buy the 47 percent stake for many months. The company is sold by the state and PZU. The tender offer of Sanitas ends on April 6.
