Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Due to price decreases in the Hungarian and Western European markets, the Warsaw Stock Exchange failed to beat another record today. The WIG20 index ended 0.42 percent down.
PKN Orlen fuel giant opened 2.5 percent higher, however it ended just 0.16 percent up. PKO BP bank was the best performer losing 2 percent. Gant, FON and Prochnik jumped between 10 and 30 percent. Capital Partners jumped 54 percent after CP Energia, which is in 50 percent owned by CP, received license to trade with natural gas. Elektromontaz-Export added 12 percent after its creditors accepted settlement offer of the company. Bioton insulin producer gained 8.2 percent after the news that it had signed agreements with two Asian companies to sell insulin in China.
