Gryf, the producer of chocolate and cocoa goods for food industry has been acquired by French Cemoi of Perpignan, “PB” has learnt unofficially. Gryf management was not available yesterday. This is a chance for fast development for the Polish company. According to U.S. economic intelligence Hoover, Cemoi is the leading French producer of chocolate products sold under the brand of its clients. It also produces cakes, wafers and other sweets for the food industry. Experts expect that the acquisition may be the beginning of expansion in retailers present in Poland. Cemoi cooperates with many of them in Western Europe.
