Hawe’s present shareholders have subscribed to buy nearly all preemptive rights issued by the company. There were only 118,000 shares left, reduction amounted to 99.5 percent.
“This is the biggest successful offer on the Warsaw Stock Exchange since November”, Marek Rudzinski, Hawe CEO said.
The company raised over PLN 100m. Nearly PLN 55m will be spent to build the second section, or 1,500 km of the fiber-optic. Hawe wants to have fiber-optic network all over Poland. When it finishes this stage, it will still have 1,000 km which should be built till the year 2011. PLN 10m will be spent for acquisitions.
“We are talking with several companies but it’s too early to talk about details”, Marek Rudzinski said.
Hawe will need PLN 33.4m to buy back its own bonds.
