GDDKiA has announced tenders to build highway infrastructure on the sections of A4 highway Wroclaw-Katowice (three operators) and A2 highway Konin-Strykow (two operators). GDDKiA is looking for companies to either build only gas station or both a gas station and a hotel.
30-year-long contracts will be signed. The biggest fuel giants operating in Poland including PKN Orlen, Grupa Lotos, BP, Shell or Statoil want to take part in the tenders. They are not happy with the requirement to build the whole infrastructure at once.
